Los pilotos Ricardo Pérez de Lara de Telcel-Benotto-Tequila Delirio, Martin Fuentes de Bomberg-Under Armour y Nelson Canache de PDVSA que ocuparon los tres primeros lugares en el campeonato 2013 y Alex Popow, que estuvo muy cerca de consagrarse campeón en el 2011, participaran en diferentes categorías el último fin de semana de enero en Daytona.
Ricardo que se convirtió en el tricampeón de la Super Copa en el 2013 lo hará en el Ferrari Challenge al comando del auto No. 2, llevando como coequipero a otro mexicano que también estuvo participando en el serial nacional, el poblano Alfonso Celis.
Por su parte Martin Fuentes que fuera el subcampeón del año pasado, lo hará en el equipo Starworks Motorsport,, con el cual ya estuvo realizando entrenamientos la semana pasada. La categoría en la que correrá Fuentes es la United SportsCar Championship.
Por su parte el venezolano Nelson Canache correrá en la misma categoría que Martin, pero en el equipo Flying Lizard, el piloto sudamericano ocupó el año pasado el tercer lugar general de la Super Copa Telcel.
En lo que se refiere a Popow participará haciendo equipo con Fuentes, después de haber logrado muy buenos resultados el año pasado en la Grand Am.
